As Director of Marketing and Sustainability of Axel Johnson Inc, Omar is responsible for managing our group’s sustainability priorities and initiatives. This means ensuring the long-term availability of the resources we employ and that our companies realize any growth potential they might have through sustainable product and service developments. Omar also manages all internal and external marketing and communications.
Prior to joining Axel Johnson, Omar spent 5 years as the Director of Marketing and Sustainability at Parkson Corporation – a manufacturer of Industrial and municipal wastewater applications equipment & solutions. He also spent 12 years in environmental design and consulting working for CDM Smith and Carollo Engineers.
Omar holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New York in Environmental Engineering.
